This video is the first devotional for the week of March 20 through March 24. This video is about Peace. "Not as the World Gives" is a short Christian film about finding peace by Eden Ministry. We can all struggle everyday with the pressures and frustrations that can make life a struggle, but if we make time for Jesus then all of these wordly problems are put into a new perspective. ReplyDeleteI like the idea, but I think the examples of 'pressures and frustrations' in the video were a little on the weak side for the main point. My initial assumption was that she spent time with Jesus and then was hyperaware of her surroundings so she was able to avoid bumping into coworkers. After giving it some more thought, I think she just had a new outlook and decided to not expect the world to be perfect towards her (expecting her coworker to have the forethought to be careful, or for others to hold the elevator for her). She just moved on and spent some time outside rather than in the stressful busyness of the subway.
