A good reminder that there is more to life than just getting through it without trials and difficulties. It's not always clear why we have pain in our lives, but pain is certainly an opportunity to test endurance and bring about growth. While it is sad to lose loved ones in this lifetime, we can be comforted by the hope we have in Jesus Christ.
