It's very interesting that science can affirm the idea that community is physically beneficial for our health. If you think about the common cold study referenced, it might make sense as the people in communities would likely have been exposed to more sicknesses and have developed a stronger immunity. Perhaps our involvement in communities of faith exposes us to more trials of endurance that make us stronger, than we would have encountered alone?
