10/24-10/28 Devo One

This video is the first devotional for the week of October 24 through October 28. In this video, pastor Chuck Swindall teaches a short devo on Glorifying God. We are all gifted in some way. What would the Giver of gifts like from us? What do you think?

Charles Rozell "Chuck" Swindoll is an evangelical Christian pastor, author, educator, and radio preacher. He founded Insight for Living, headquartered in Plano, Texas, which airs a radio program of the same name on more than 2,000 stations around the world in 15 languages. He is currently senior pastor at Stonebriar Community Church, in Frisco, Texas.

    Excellent reminder that none of our gifts are ours to take credit for. We need to remind our students the same and continue to discover our gifts and improve them to the Glory of God. Love that the piece was a Bach piece becaus of his example.

    I really like the analogy that our spiritual gifts are similar to the music that a composer would create for a musician. As the "musicians", we take the spiritual gifts we are given by our creator and we use them to exalt God. The Giver of gifts desires us to use our God-given talents to show the world His work.
