I truly look up to Francis Chan, he is a wonderful encourager. What a wonderful question, how do you know you are in love with Jesus? it truly makes you think- what's my personal relationship like with the Lord. Sometimes people think they have a personal relationship, but in reality we need Him, and knowing Him deeply is so important.
ReplyDeleteI have difficulty with the phrase "in love with Jesus". I feel it makes Christ so human that one can forget that he is, indeed, fully God as well. I appreciate the idea of fostering our personal relationship with God in our hearts, though.
ReplyDeleteI know that we are supposed to have God first before every other relationship-our spouse, our children, our parents, security, money, etc. Praying constantly and returning to the covenant of our baptism helps me with that. I also love Francis Chan. He seems to zero in to the point with such finesse.
ReplyDeleteI want to be like that grandma to my grandkids. :) Beautiful story about grandma.
ReplyDeleteVery nice devotional. I enjoyed listening to Francis and his stories. He made me really think!
