Thank you Reggie! I appreciate your reminders. Most especially, the one about patience. It's easy to be too hard on ourselves.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely. Thank you for sharing Reggie. You know I have found patience to be challenging at times in my life. God calls us to pray firs always and yet sometimes we loose site of that we get our frustrations overtake us. It's a great reminder to stop, breath and always pray allowing God to take control.
ReplyDeleteThanks again!
Very practical and valid advice plus an encouraging message. Reminds me of a passage in Luke 14
ReplyDelete28 For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it? 29 Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, 30 saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish.’ 31 Or what king, going out to encounter another king in war, will not sit down first and deliberate whether he is able with ten thousand to meet him who comes against him with twenty thousand? 32 And if not, while the other is yet a great way off, he sends a delegation and asks for terms of peace. (good and correct consideration for the vision, materials, foundation, and costs involved
Thank you Reggie. What a great way to be reminded of peace and patience. It's too easy to become caught up in the everyday busy work pace. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteIt is so easy to get distracted in our chaotic lives and jobs. It's important to understand we will be thrown curveballs, and it's ok to fail, and it's ok to step back and take a break in order to tackle our duties.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Reggie, for the practical and spiritual advice. My year has been so tumultuous so far, it is a great reminder to lean on the foundation that I have based my life on. A wonderful reminder to realize that curve balls come and that we have the tools to deal with whatever comes our way.
