This was pretty hysterical. Not sure what I can pull from that story. He mentioned How we feel when our students irritate us, or disobey. It's so hard to be patient sometimes when our students push us over the edge. It's hard to take a breath and not loose our tempers. But it's so important to pause ask God to give you the patience and a to give you the words to handle the situation better.
ReplyDeleteAdam is a hoot! I can't wait to hear the point of the story. It reminds me of the Dr. Seuss book, "Have you seen my mother?". Classic. Wait, what? Don't eat our students? I was really looking forward to his insight. Hmmm, too tired to make up my own. The whole world is searching for what is missing in their lives? Stop searching and get the peace in your heart from God? Life without God will never be enough? Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteAdam's enthusiasm alone is inspiring!

ReplyDeleteHumor is a great way to be honest, vulnerable and optimistic all at the same time. Comedy can reach those deep places that suffer in darkness. I like to use comedy as a teaching tool but find that different ages need different types of comedy and content.
ReplyDeleteThere is truth there. Adam captivated me.
