James 1:2-5- Love this verse about trials. I truly enjoyed hearing Sabrina share. She talked about making progress within trials instead of hiding until it's over. It's hard sometimes to learn while while we are in trials because we are usually bitter about the fact that we are in the middle of muck. Imagine if we are were in the "muck" and we asked God what do you want me to learn through this? It's of course always hard to do- but it's amazing what God is trying to show us amongst the storm. What a great reminder to surround yourself with other believers who encourage and support you.
ReplyDeleteSabrina has great insight into life and the state of trials. I LOVE the reminder to learn the lesson that your trial is teaching, so you don't have to relearn and relearn it. I often joke about what a difficult student I can be and that God is constantly trying to teach me to trust Him. What a crazy student story! What a humble and wise servant Sabrina is being by sharing her stories. Thank you! Always love learning new words too. :)

ReplyDeleteSabrina is a great teacher and parent. She has a wealth of knowledge and has done nothing but encourage me in my time here at Valley. She has two wonderful sons that are doing great things as they navigate this world. She and her husband have shown by modeling what prayer can do. They rely on God for all things and it shows. What a great testimony.
