  1. Hi friends-- I hope everyone is having a wonderful week. Thanks for sharing such an intimate and funny story, Mr. Wilson. It's been a blessing to watch you and Dr. Jones interact with your wives and children on campus over the last year. I know I'm MUCH younger than you both, but it's helpful to have someone model and coach me on how to love as a husband and a future father. Most examples we see in the US are tough love and emotionless, but you guys both put love and grace on display with your families every time I see you here at Valley. Thanks for sharing your families and stories with VCS!

Totally agree that some of our students aren't ready to hear the gospel. Some of us do the planting, some do the watering, etc. etc. God is using us in our students' lives exactly as He wants to, even if we aren't the ones to see the final product. Keep being encouraged. Happy Labor Day!

  2. This is by far the single greatest devotional video in the history of mankind...

  3. I love to see Mr. Wilson all soft and squishy, since he had his little girls. Thanks, Jeff, for sharing that message - sometimes I don't feel like I can plant the seeds in the students I interact with, but through modeling and listening and loving and offering myself as a safe place to talk, I know now that I am "watering" the seeds planted by all of you who do that so well.

  4. Jeff, thank you for the wonderful encouragement to continue our work with family and students knowing that at some point, the message will get through. I loved the story of your interaction with your daughters.
