This blog is for VCS Conservatory faculty, elementary, junior high, and high school, who cannot make the regular scheduled weekly devotions. It is to complete the required devotionals twice a week. You must view the two selected inspirational videos anytime during the week and give a comment on the video (at least 3 sentences). Your comments are what counts for credit.
I cant get enough of videos and messages like this. they are so inspiring. I think it is especially wonderful for people in professions that do not pay a lot, do not come with fame, and overall require so much giving. We can never give enough, pray enough, share, comfort or love enough.
ReplyDeleteNice to have this perspective presented as a devotional. Dust to dust. We need to remember that as we live each day.
ReplyDeleteI often think what people will say about me in my funeral? I dont think they will talk about how much ( or how little) money I have. I hope people will talk about how much of impact I've made to my students. Life is a mirror, at my age, perhaps it's time to ask, what I have done to the society or school or to the students.
ReplyDeleteLearn to live so that when you are dying you have no regrets. I often forget what impact the small choices of kindness, mercy, giving, and help has in the Kingdom of God. We often think of the large gestures as meaningful but a life of small acts of kindness are just as important. May I look for these opportunities each and every day.
