It has been such an amazing week with Carlos. His wisdom and insight into God's word is inspiring. His transparency is heart warming. At the same time, I want to pray for him and want him to pray for me. what a beautiful testimony and life that is centered around Jesus.

ReplyDeleteHonestly, I was not that enthusiastic about Carlos in the opening and while he talks about handling worry and anxiety, seeing the film super fast forward of him driving back home from the coffee shop to his home was not soothing! But what really encouraged me was his honestly and down to earth message from the 5th chapter of 2nd Peter. Just knowing that suffering is a part of the human experience and we are better off to embrace it rather than trying to minimize it or numb it by medications or escapism. We should assign it as part of the sanctification process and learn from it to build faith and strengthen us. Now a negative can be transformed into a positive.
