The poem / song struck a nerve. A beautiful reminder to slow down and pray.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of this song yet, it's beautiful. As I listened through it, I feel like I let my fear get in the way of my trust. It should never out weigh what give to the Lord. This portion of the lyrics " God I need You more than words can say

I love the part about "Right here in this moment, you know my heart you know my need" Because it's so true HE ALWAYS DOES. And when we pause and remember oh yeah I am not alone, we need to know He is always there, He knows our struggle.
I like how the lyrics capture the times when we don't know what to pray, or how to pray. How wonderful that we have prayers written down for us that encompass all of our needs! The Lord's Prayer is perfect for this.
ReplyDeleteHow totally appropriate for this year of prayer as well as the sad year I am having. My default setting in my mind is to pray. I even find myself praying for characters in a movie sometimes! That being said, this year, I have had a hard time finding words that cover the depth of my heart. Thank you for this song. It was beautiful and fed my soul.
