  1. I was present for this devotional. It was so neat to hear him share this heart about their team and mission. I went to Chile for the Spring Break with Valley- it was remarkable seeing our students bond with each other and grow in their faith.. Also watching them all come together to build a beautiful house was remarkable. This trip opened their eyes to love and how to serve others well. So glad I got to hear Mark's heart and his mission for this team.

  2. Great opportunity for our students to be connected with the leadership of their school. And great opportunity for our leadership to be 'in the trenches' with the students! All around a good experience.

  3. Going to other countries, other languages spoken, other cultures, often poverty. It is a reality check to how much we have! What a wonderful opportunity for students to get this opportunity early in life.

  4. I remember vividly our interaction as faculty with students as we traveled to Indonesia. While there were challenging aspects of the trip, nevertheless there were priceless moments of the students being made to travel out of their comfort zone and interact with children who had many challenges in life that are hard to fathom for a society that is privileged in comparison to theirs

  5. I am excited for students as well as teacher who have the opportunity to serve the lord all over this world, and I LOVE practical missions trips. This group truly were the hands and the feet of God. Mark is so hysterical how he talks about it as well! Hilarious and poignant at the same time.

  6. I have done mission trips like this in Mexico. They changed my life, showed me so much about myself, and they revealed to me how blessed with comfort I am in comparison to so many.
I am encouraged listening to the "fire" talks. That was where so much spiritual growth was had for me because the conversations were deep and venerable.
