ReplyDeleteWOW, I love this song! This song has gotten me through alot in my lifetime. It's really about letting all your guards down and trusting in our Lord Jesus. Relying on him with everything and letting go of all the doubt and fear. She is has been a huge inspiration to me, her songs really conenct

ReplyDeleteSuch a needed message in the age when the idea of the prosperity gospel is so prevalent. God is good despite are struggles and we can trust even when the answers are not coming or prayers are not answered in the way we wish. Also the futility of trying to fight the spiritual battles wears us down if we do not allow him to fight them for us and work in union with him.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love Lauren Daigle and I love to pause and reflect on her music whenever it comes on KLove. There is such a power to the lyrics and such a vulnerability. What does it look like to truly trust God in every aspect of our lives? I wouldn't know! I find myself trusting Him when its not hard, but when its hard, I stubbornly hold on to my own devices.

ReplyDeleteWhen the answers don’t come trust in the Lord for his timing and plan in your life. This is hard for me to do because I am impatient and sometimes in my short sightedness feel like the scenario in my mind is the best turn of events, but often the Lord has a better plan in regard to His glory and edification vs. my own.
This is a good reminder, thank you.
