My favorite part of this devotion is Oliver naming the cow 'Moo'. Of course, the rest of the devotion was spot on as well - Thank you, Mr. Gunter!
ReplyDeleteReally enjoyed this one. And it is so true, there is a season for everything and reflecting on that helped me get through a tough day. Sometimes it can feel like the weather has changed, but even bad weather has its advantages.
ReplyDeleteThanks for this!

ReplyDeleteI really appreciated the value and time of reflection in the music, words and images. It made me think of the different seasons of my life. How each challenge really shaped me to be who I am today. In each trial I was sharpened and blessed by things and people I least expected and out of hardship came growth, knowledge and a deeper faith in God's promises. Thank you Troy!

DeleteOh my gosh, as soon as the music started, tears came. Thank you, Troy for your amazing devotional and reminder of how blessed I am to live where I do, especially as the August dust settles in my sinuses.. The verse from Ecclesiastes has sustained me many times as well. What a beautiful way of bringing it full circle with first your grandpa and then Oliver. Thought provoking and insightful.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the reminder of how God is sovereign over all seasons. It can be so easy to get wrapped up in the "busy season" that is back to school. I am so grateful that even in this busy time, I get to work both with and for coworkers and friends who constantly challenge and remind me to stop and remember that God is the one who has ordained this time to be exactly what he wants it to be.
